I will be graduating from UW-La Crosse this December with a major in biology/biomedical science concentration and psychology and chemistry minors. I will be applying to medical school next year.
Experience
I tutored for all ages during high school mostly for math and science. I received a 30 on my ACT. I want to be a tutor because I have always loved working with kids, and I enjoy helping kids work through problems and gain confidence in themselves. I think that it is important for students to understand that it isn't just about what grades they get, but it is about learning and being able to apply the material. I was a personal care assistant at a group home for adults with disabilities and I was a physical activity mentor for a young man with autism, so I have experience working with all types of people.
