Education
I have a Bachelors degree from UW-La Crosse where I majored in Spanish and Biology (with a concentration in biomedical sciences) and minored in Chemistry.
Experience
I tutored a high school sophomore in Spanish 3 this past year (2012-2013) and was able to help him raise his grade remarkably. I also tutored 5th and 6th grade students in various subjects a few years ago. I took the GRE (revised) in 2011 and got a 156 Verbal, 159 Quantitative and 4.5 for the Writing section. I studied abroad in Spain in 2010 and would feel very comfortable tutoring Spanish or English for spanish-speaking individuals. I currently work as a peri-operative tech (working with patients before and after surgery) at a local hospital and am also a Big Sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program here in the Coulee region.
