Education
I attend the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. My major is Middle Child through Early Adolescent Education and my minor is Special Education. I am currently a Junior (3rd year) and have recently finished 40 hours of in classroom work with Learning Disabled students for my clinical field study class.
Experience
I currently have 4 years of tutoring under my belt. I volunteer tutor Hmong children and have worked with middle, and elementary school students through after school programs. I have taken 3 years of education classes at UWL and have learned a great deal about how to work with students and how to relate lessons to them in a way that is relevant and meaningful to each and every student. As I mentioned before I recently finished 40 hours of in class work with Special Education students. The reason I want to be a tutor is because I love working with children, and I want nothing more than to see the students I help, succeed academically and as well as socially and emotionally.
Availability
Thursday in the evening, Weekends in the morning, Monday in the afternoon, Friday in the afternoon

Hobbies
In my free time I very much enjoy working out and spending time with friends. A specific hobby of mine is drawing, this has been a passion of mine since a young age. I enjoy art in any form but drawing is what I enjoy most, artistically. I also like sports of any kind, I played basketball, football, track and baseball in high school and middle school.
